Repeat Prescriptions

If you take medicines on a regular basis – and so have “repeat prescriptions” - you can collect these from the Repeat counter provided you have given us at least 48 hours notice of your needs. Patients using the Appleby surgery can collect their repeat prescriptions from there, but need to give longer notice.

How to Request a Repeat Prescription

You can request your repeat prescriptions:

In person
By post (please allow for postal delays)
By fax (01530 271433)
Online via Emis Access

If you would like to include a message relating to your request please use the message box on the emis ordering page.
For example:
1. To order items you have been prescribed before, but are not listed in your repeat items.
2. To collect your prescription from Appleby Surgery
3. To collect your prescription from the Chemist
Please remember we require a minimum of two working days to process your request, longer if you wish to collect it from the Appleby Surgery.
